Let’s be honest, some nights only a Spicy Mexican Pizza will hit the spot. Imagine your favorite crispy chewy pizza crust piled high with Chile de Arbol Taco Mix seasoned ground beef, smothered in melty quesadilla cheese, and loaded with all the bold flavors of Mexican street food. No half-hearted fusion here, this is the real deal.
We skip the basic tomato sauce and instead spread a layer of seasoned refried beans for richness. Then comes the good stuff: beef cooked with Powerful Pepper Company Chili de Árbol Taco Mix for the Spicy Spices, plenty of melty cheese, fresh taco toppings like onion and cilantro, fresh tomatoes, Spicy Habanero and Serrano Chiles, and a drizzle of Mexican Crema. Every bite is crunchy, spicy, cheesy, meaty, and totally addictive.
If you love tacos and pizza (who doesn’t?), this is your new holy grail.

Directions
Let your dough come to room temp for a few hours
Make your bean sauce by adding a tablespoon of vegetable oil to the bottom of a pan and heating over medium heat for 2 minutes. Add a pinch of whole cumin seeds and stir for 30 seconds until they sizzle and then add your can of beans and a half a can of water and stir. We are looking for that spreadable sauce consistency for the beans. The cumin is just extra flavor.
Make your Mexican ground beef by browning a pound of ground beef and then adding 1.5 tablespoons of our Chili De Arbol Taco Mix and a ¼ cup of water and stir until ready. Taste and add more Taco Mix if it needs more.
Chop your veggies for the toppings. I did a white onion chopped mixed with cilantro like you find at the best taqerias as well as some thinly sliced habaneros, serranos, and cherry tomatoes. You can also add sliced avacado and shredded lettuce here too. All are good options.
Turn your hood vent on and make sure you do not have anything in your oven. Preheat your oven to 500 degrees. Par cook the dough by baking it for 2 minutes and removing it from the oven. This does two things. It makes it easier to work with since you don’t have all of that weight of the toppings on top and it will keep it from getting too soggy when you cook everything else together.
Top the par-cooked dough with beans, meat, and cheese in that order.
Cook at 500 until bubbly and the cheese is starting to brown.
Add cold toppings to your hearts desire and slice. This includes lettuce, tomato, peppers, onions, cilantro, avocado, and crema/sour cream. Enjoy your new obsession.
