Just in time for the dog days of summer is a Jalapeno, Cucumber, & Watermelon Margarita. The most refreshing and delicious drink of the century. A bit spicy, a bit sweet, and we can all get sauced on a few of these. We love to seek out the seasonal treats and this is literally one of the very best.

Ingredients
-
1 Small Watermelon
-
1 Large Cucumber
-
Lime Juice About a lime per drink
-
Sugar, a teaspoon per drink
-
Jalapeno (or whatever spicy pepper you want) a few slices per drink
-
Blanco or Reposado Tequila (just leave out for non-alcoholic)
Directions
Peel and chop watermelon into cubes and slice cucumber into a few chunks and blend together until smooth.
Strain the watermelon and cucumber through a sieve/colander and fill a pitcher or two to set aside.
For Each Drink
In a tumbler, add a few slices of jalapeno (how much is up to you with or without seeds) and a couple tea spoonfuls of sugar to the bottom of a stainless and muddle/smash them up together. Squeeze in the juice of a whole lime and muddle a few more times.
Fill the tumbler ½ full with ice and pour 6-8 oz watermelon cucumber juice and 2 oz of tequila into the tumbler
Wipe a lime slice on one spot on a margarita glass and dip into ground hot pepper salt. Fill with ice and strain the margarita into the glass and enjoy! Jalapeno and Lime for Garnish if you’re fancy.
