So this is something different and fun you can do with those frozen
shrimp in your freezer. You get the awesome flavor of charred green
onions, garlic, and those delicious shrimp all in one easy handheld
snack.
Let get to it. Time to cook!

Ingredients
-
1 lb shrimp (peeled and de-veined)
-
1 bunch green onions (Chopped)
-
1 clove fresh garlic, minced fine
-
1 tsp soy sauce
-
¼ tsp Powerful Pepper Flakes (more if you like it HOT)
-
White or Black Pepper (hefty pinch)
-
Bread (dealers choice, I like both sourdoughs and brioche)
Directions
Clean your shrimp and drain, then pat dry with a paper towel.
Chop the shrimp until it starts to all stick together, add in your sliced green onions, fresh garlic, Powerful Pepper Flakes, and Soy and give it a mix.
Take a slice of bread and spoon on a good spoonful of the shrimp mix and spread it evenly across the surface. (repeat until you are out of the shrimp mix)
In a hot skillet add some oil and then begin by frying shrimp side down. A non-stick seems to work best for this.
After 2 or 3 minutes, put a pat of butter on the top of the bred while it’s on the pan and then flip it with a spatula. You should have a nice brown crust and you are going to grill the bread to make the side under the shrimp delicious as well. As this is going the juices from the shrimp are going to permeate the bread and just add a ton of deliciousness to the finished dish.
Plate it up and enjoy!
